Can you freeze ready made formula




















Freezing the formula also will not extend its shelf life past the expiration date. Some shops do smaller tins, or maybe join hippo baby club etc for sample packets, also the made up bottles ate smaller bit not cheap. Maybe ask your doctor as I'm sure you can get high calorie formula on prescription to aid weight gain when topping up.

This may be contentious but if you really need more calories in then why not add a bit of unsalted butter instead or at this stage babies will start to have cows milk eg in jar food, yoghurts etc, then why not buy cows milk and freeze that into ice cubes to add to food, or even do they still make gold top or even add some cream?? Or mix in a bit of say Dairylea or other child friendly soft cheese is it laughing cow?
