Though plans were made to re-open, as of yet the store has not relocated. In its time, the pop-up became the physical embodiment of the community that Odd Future and Tyler, The Creator built.

There's a whole legion of younger kids like 15 or 16 that would hang around there so we like their big homies or whatever. That was a hangout spot for them, and it was good because it would kind of keep them out of trouble. It makes sense that Tyler, The Creator values his creative position so highly when so much of himself goes into his brand.

Tyler has always embraced the idea of wearing what you want, and doing you, and his designs are more about pushing his own style to the limits than pandering to current trends.

They stressed that many of the people wearing them would be white, and producing a T-shirt like that with no historical context — regardless of who designed it — was irresponsible. Most recently, Tyler has been showing how he feels about the upcoming presidential election, releasing two election themed T-shirts — one pro-Bernie and the other anti-Trump.

I know I will be making suits in the future. Alongside Moschino, helmed by Jeremy Scott, whom Tyler has admired since he was a kid, will present their first runway show and a virtual reality livestream. Starting as a hip hop collective out of Los Angeles, California, Odd Future or OFWGKTA is a group of rappers, musicians, artists, skateboarders and friends who have become synonymous with controversy all the while taking world by storm.

Known for their hip hop music they began by writing and self producing music posting all their content including songs and videos online, achieving recognition through their savvy networking skills. Like most popular music groups OFWGKTA offers merchandise and apparel that feature the OF graphics and album artwork many of which include yearbook pictures, cats, dolphins and upside-down crosses. The majority of their graphics and merchandise were designed by Tyler, The Creator and can be seen on tee shirts, hats, sweatshirts, socks, stickers and more.

Over the past several years the rappers and artists of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All have built an empire with their unique style that goes against the grain of social norms, bringing their creative approach to everything they do including music, clothing, videos and more. Getting boxes of samples was like early Christmas. Not to mention seeing fans around the city wearing graphics that we all worked to bring to life was pretty fulfilling.
